l with another dog friend who has already been adopted. I’m in a loving foster home soaking up the love and attention there and can’t wait to do so in a home of my very own!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the dog I came in with as well as the dogs in my foster home, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / I get along well with the kitties in my foster home. All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would do with other cats. / I like the kids that have visited my foster home, so if you have gentle kids who know how to properly handle a small dog, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’ve loved everyone I’ve met so far and just have the sweetest little personality! I enjoy pets, cuddles, lap time, toys, and treats, and I’m the perfect mix of playful and snuggly - I’ll have a fun play session and then be ready to curl up for some cuddle time. I’m hoping for a family who loves snuggles, has plenty of toys, and wants to spend lots of time being loved by me. I was also very well behaved for my shelter bath, showing what a good boy I am! / Energy level: 3-5.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know my name as well as the ‘sit’ command. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / I didn’t love being in a crate when I was at the shelter, so my fosters haven’t used one with me. / My potty manners are very good on a good take-out schedule. I do some marking, but my fosters say it is easily corrected, and they will be happy to go over that with you.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being held and will happily snuggle in close. At night, I like to burrow under the covers and cuddle up tight - it’s one of my favorite things! I also enjoy pets, lap time, toys, and treats, making me the perfect little cuddle companion. / Other than not liking to be pulled on a leash (a harness may be better) that’s attached to my collar, I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I had a good dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again. I need to lose a bit of weight, so I’m on the green bean diet – just ask about this so I can get back to a good weight.
