He’s done great with the dogs he’s met so far and would be happy in a home with canine friends or as your one and only. He hasn’t met cats yet but is open to a meet and greet. He’s working on his leash training and enjoys having a fenced yard to run and play; while not required, a fenced yard would be ideal for him, especially given his breed’s natural love for patrolling and outdoor freedom.
As a Pyrenees mix, Bear will grow into a large guardian type dog who may bark, keep watch, and thrive with space — so a small apartment likely isn’t the best fit. He is currently recovering from Lyme disease and responding very well to treatment, showing his resilience and gentle spirit every day.
