rrel and grouse. She is very good on a leash when on main roads and good off leash in the woods and more rural areas. She minds very well when alone but not as well when other dogs around as she goes with the group. She is a sweetheart 95% of the time but not perfect. I believe she came from a puppy farm of sorts as she has anxiety and socialization issues, but has come a long way. She gets over stimulated in new situations so new people, new dogs, new places and that brings out her anxiety. She gets protective with people she bonds with so needs to learn the difference between affection and friendly vs danger and attacked. I originally got her as a companion to my 3 yr Yorkie mix but almost 2 yrs later they still do not get along well and she has become more of a bully with her size and personality differences so my Yorkie spends most of his time hiding from her. Along with that my job and life now takes me away from home more often including overnights and hard to find someone to watch both of them. My parents have been very accommodating so far but have 2 dogs of their own and that is becoming too much for them. I want to find her a home that can give her the time, training, patience and attention I am not able to provide. With some obedience and especially hunting training she would be an awesome dog. Due to her anxiety I would not recommend her to a family with young children. She loves being out in the woods. I live close to a main road and am able to have her off leash when I am working around the yard and she stays pretty close to me.
