Description
Posted Breed: Pekingese / Dachshund / Mixed (medium coat). Diamond was born around February 21, 2017 and weighs about 15 pounds. Joyful was contacted by the brother of a man who had gone into Hospice and left behind 3 dogs and a cat. The man's brother had owned the animals and loved them very much but he was ill and unable to take care of himself let alone his pets. Diamond only has one eye and we were not told why or how she lost the other one. Diamond arrived in somewhat better condition than Millie. Diamond was infested with fleas, her toenails curled into her paws and had skin infections. Diamond is feeling much better and is a very sweet girl. Diamond loves other dogs and is fine with kitties. Diamond rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash. Diamond is somewhat shy at first but quickly begins to love once she knows she is safe. This sweet girl has had a rough couple of years and can not wait for her to live the good life once again. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $475.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
