The Association for the Blind of Western Australia has introduced Labradoodles into their training program, and their first, Jonnie, graduated in November 2010. Labradoodles are now widely used around the world as guide, assistance, and therapy dogs as well as being popular family dogs. The Norwegian Royal Crown Prince and Princess own a Labradoodle.
Golden Retriever-Goldendoodle
This breed is a cross between an Golden Retriever and a Goldendoodle. This breed is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Golden Retriever and a Goldendoodle. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the it are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed.
