The German Shorthaired Lab is a cross between an German Shorthaired Pointer and a Labrador Retriever. The German Shorthaired Lab is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing German Shorthaired Pointer and a Labrador Retriever. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the German Shorthaired Lab are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%.
