Chi-Chon

The Chi-Chon is a mix between a Bichon Frise and a Chihuahua. The temperament can be from either parent breed. If they have the Chihuahua temperament, they may not be good for families with children.

Lhasa Apsos are extremely protective of their family. An obedient breed, the Lhasa is playful, yet independent, making it a favorite among families. They're great with kids, too!

The French Bulldog is low key and enjoys lots of activity. He's well suited for either family living or attaching to just one special person. He can be a great watchdog, although will bark only when there is a real need.

The Malt-A-Poo is a mix between the Maltese and the Poodle. These dogs get along well in most families, if they have a yard for exercise.

Poochon

The Poochon is a combination of the Bichon Frise and the Poodle. They can have the characteristics of either of the parent breeds. Since both breeds make good pets, the Poochon should also make a good companion.

Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.

Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the Boxador are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed.
