The link to our application is in the dogs bio below. Lilli is a beautiful 6 month old Husky/German Shepard mix pup who currently weighs 45 pounds. She adores people and her easy demeanor will make her forever family very happy. Lilli is a great dog! She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She is totally housebroken and absolutely loves all humans and dogs. She’s super friendly & playful. Don’t let her initial bashfulness fool you. Lilli is loving above all else. She is easy going & loves attention. Kids often approach & ask to pet her. She’s an ideal companion for children. Lilli loves all dogs, big and small and jumps right in to play. She has had no experience with cats to our knowledge. She loves being outside so a home with a fenced yard and a furry sibling to play with would be preferred for her. Lilli loves walks and hikes and walks very nicely on a leash. She loves being with her people so a furry sibling to be with when they leave the house would be ideal. Lilli is very quiet, smart, eager to please, and has a great demeanor. She has learned sit, down, off, place, crate, and come and has a lot of interest in learning more. She is a great match for someone who wants a loyal, curious, intelligent, and sociable dog. She loves car rides and is well-behaved in the car. Lilli also likes playing with her toys, food puzzles, earning treats, and hiking/walks. She is calm and lays quietly when play time is over. She adores people and will make her forever family very happy. Lilli truly a special pup! Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized. Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions. We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.
