Yorkshire Terrier
Yorkie
The Yorkshire Terrier is a tiny dog, but this should not be confused with delicacy. They have a strong sense of self and prefer to be treated with respect and no pampering.
Bouvier Des Flandres
Flanders Cattle Dog, Vlaamse Koehond
Bouviers can be very protective pets. They're suspicious of strangers and even wary of other dogs. They're also very intelligent. They can be well-suited for the country as they enjoy getting plenty of fresh air and exercise.
Patterdale Terrier
The Patterdale Terrier was originally bred for hunting. This breed is rarely found outside of Great Britain, but there are some in the USA. The breed is calmer and quieter than other Terrier types.
Papillon
Phalène, Continental Toy Spaniel, Epagneul Nain Continental
The Papillon is a cuddly little dog, always eager to please his owner. He's playful and affectionate, suited for both city and country living. His name comes from the French word for 'butterfly' ('papillion' - with an 'I'), as the shape of his hairy ear
Zuchon
Shichon, teddy bear dog, fuzzy wuzzy puppy, Chacy Ranior
The Zuchon is a mixture of the Bichon Frise and the Shih Tzu. Both breeds make good companions.
Anatolian Shepherd-Rottweiler
This breed is a cross between an Anatolian Shepherd and a Rottweiler. This breed is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Anatolian Shepherd and a Rottweiler. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the it are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.
Dachshund
teckel
The Dachshund (German for 'badger dog') is a family favorite. Playful, friendly, and full of charm, he makes a great pet.
Australian Labradoodle
The Australian Labradoodle breed dates back to the 1980's and was initiated by Wally Conran of Royal Guide Dogs located in Victoria Australia. The intent was to create a breed that was allergy and asthma friendly with the temperament of a service dog. This journey was inspired by a vision impaired woman in Hawaii needed a Guide Dog which wouldn't aggravate her husband's allergies. Of the 31 Labradoodles bred at Royal Guide Dogs, a staggering 29 made it through as Guide Dogs... an accolade of paralleled proportion for this "new breed' of Guide Dog. Currently the Australian Labradoodle is considered to be a cross between the Poodle, Cocker Spaniel and Labrador Retriever, while the Labradoodle is a cross between the Labrador Retriever and Poodle only.
